Pillars of Islam

On the authority of Aboo `Abd ir-Rahmaan `Abdullaah, the son of `Umar ibn al-Khattab radiAllaahu ‘anhumaa, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) say:

Islaam has been built on five [pillars]: testifying that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allaah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah, establishing the salaah (prayer), paying the zakaah (obligatory charity), making the Hajj (pilgrimage) to the House, and fasting in Ramadaan. [related by al-Bukhaari and Muslim]

Explanation of Hadeeth

Aboo al-‘Abbaas al-Qurtubee (rahimahu Allaahu) has said that this hadeeth means that these five matters are the foundation and basic principles upon which the religion of al-Islaam is built. With these five matters does Islaam make itself apparent. And the Prophet sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam particularised these five matters and did not mention Jihaad along with them (even though it is through Jihaad that Islaam is made uppermost and the resistance of the Disbelievers is belittled) because these five matters are obligatory at all times upon all Muslims, whereas Jihaad is a Fard Kifaayah which may not be required during certain times. [Note: a Fard Kifaayah is an obligation that is required of the Muslims such that if a group of them fulfill it then the obligation is lifted from the community as a whole].

And in some of the narrations of this hadeeth (such as the one quoted above), mention of the Hajj is made before mention of the Fasting in Ramadaan. However, and Allaah knows best, the correct form is the placing of the Fasting before the Hajj, as is narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that he corrected a narrator who changed the order and said “This is how I have heard it from the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam)”. This incident shows us the precision of the Sahaabah and the scholars of Hadeeth after them in preserving the words of the Messenger sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam, and how can this not be when Allaah ‘azza wa jall has said:

“Verily We have sent down the Dhikr and We shall preserve it”

and the Dhikr or Wahee sent down to the Prophet sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam includes both the Qur’aan and the Sunnah, as Allaah has said:

“Nor does he speak of (his own) desire; It is only an Inspiration that is inspired.”

And it is also narrated from Ibn ‘Umar radiAllaahu ‘anhu that the Messenger sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam said:

“Islaam is built upon that you worship Allaah (alone) and disbelieve in (the worship of) all that is other than Him, and the establishment of the Prayer, …(till the end of the hadeeth)”

And in the hadeeth occurs the phrase ‘establishment’ of the prayer (iqaam as-salaah), as opposed to ‘performance’ of the prayer. The scholars have mentioned how this indicates that the Prayer must be performed in the most perfect manner, after having completed the wudoo’ in the most perfect manner, and in the Masjid with the jamaa’ah for the men, and so on and so forth. That is, simply performing the motions of the Prayer in the most minimal fashion is not what is desired from us – but rather we should exert ourselves in this affair, bearing in mind that the Prayer is the first matter that will be judged on the Day of Resurrection – if it is accepted then the rest of our actions will be accepted, and if it is rejected then the rest of our actions will also be rejected.

Summary

That Islaam is indeed built on the five principles of:1) Witnessing that Allaah is our only deity and Muhammad (sallAllaahu alayhi wa sallam) is His Messenger to show us how to fulfill our existence on this earth as Muslims,2) Prayer,3) Zakaah,4) Fasting and5) HajjSo one must strive to fulfill these pillars with the utmost care, concern and priority, and one must do so normally before one gets involved with other aspects of the Deen.

Some Quran verses reminding the meeting of the lord in hereafter

“What are they awaiting but for the Hour (Last Day) to come upon them suddenly? Its Signs have already come. What good will their Reminder be to them when it does arrive? “ [Quran 47: 18]

“The deeds of those who rejected Our signs and the meeting (with their Lord) on the Day of Judgment would come to nothing. Would they encounter the consequences of anything other than what they do.” [Quran 7:147]

“There are those who do not entertain any thoughts of meeting Us (after death) and are contented and well pleased with the life of this world. They are the ones who totally ignore Our proofs!” [Quran 10:7]

“They ask, “(After death), when we disperse and disappear into dust, will we then return in a renewed creation?” What they refuse to believe, in fact, is the meeting with their Lord!” [Quran 32:10]

“Does man think that We would not (be able to) put his bones (back) together? Indeed, We have the power to (mold and) sculpt (even) his finger tips in perfect proportions.” [Quran 75:3-4]

Bigg Boss Season 8- Is it a 1 Man Show?

As a viewer, many of us are disappointed with contestant selection in this season of Bigg boss hosted by Salman Khan. Apparently the reason is very much clear. Fake fights, unnecessary drama and scripted way of dialogue delivery by contestants.

Personally I have found hardly one or two real personalities with package of right amount of drama and entertainment needed for the show. Its simply none other than India’s Favorite Gautam Gulati (I doubt any contestant in the history of Bigg Boss got so much of united support from viewers ^_~ ). On the other hand RJ Pritam Pyaare standing with Public as well as contestant support for his classy humor which makes everyone laugh. The difference between the duos is evident. One is supported by housemates as well as mass viewers whereas other is certainly a ONE MAN ARMY.

Many might not believe in Calling Gautam Gulati- A One Man Army but many instances proved that nobody, in real sense is supportive to this guy except when there is some hidden benefit lying inside their witty brain. lets have a look at his closest Pal in Bigg Boss 8 who claimed to be his friends.

1) Puneet Issar: The most experienced contestant in BB8 in terms of seniority, is found more into creating clashes and hatred for some contestant. He is mostly found bitching and plotting against fellow inmates with his P3G gang who only listen to him out of respect. The oldie has also been taking a good advantage of the respect and love Gautam Gulati has for him. though he ditched Gautam once for captaincy task against Upen, his return to Bigg boss after elimination coz of violent behavior towards one inmate changed his views about many contestants and especially Gautam, certainly cause of his huge fan following and public support.

Is Puneet using Gautam to take his revenge on the Bedroom gang? Well, his behavior since his comeback is giving such hints?

2) Praneet Bhatt: Oh my God. After Karishma Tanna, if anybody’s voice can hurt my ear so badly is no one but this Reel and Real Life Shakuni Mama. He acted positively very much for 1 or 2 week but somehow his insecurities and maybe jealousy towards Gautam is apparently visible since 3 4 weeks. At many instances he tried portraying Gautam wrong for many invalid reasons in the name of so called CARE & LOVE FOR YOUNGER BROTHER but any rational person can make out his wittiness towards his competition as no true Bro will go to random inmates to bitch & brainwash about their chaddi buddy chota bro. Eg: Brainwashing Preetam and Puneet at core, Puneet for his own benefit didn’t turn up whereas Preetam pyaare is looking so used and inspired by the negativity Shakuni Mama is spreading.

3) Preetam Pyaare: GG and PP, looked like Karan Arjun of BB8 after Upen- Arya Brotherly Bond, is no more together as shakuni Mama’s Wizardry worked well in the past few days and Preetam Pyaare turned his back for no tough reason but their self made negativity towards Gautam like other inmates. Funny part is Preetam and Praneet call Gautam negative and desperate for captaincy but they really didn’t check their selves how greedy they acted for one captaincy and created negative aura in BB8.

Sad part is he disappointed many of his fans including me for such an unnecessary and desperate shift. Preetam Pyaare ji we gave you many chances, don’t act more like same else you’ll lose many of your fans permanently. Please learn something from Arya-Upen. That’s what i call a true friend and well wisher (Though i didn’t like them in this entire season, i appreciate their Bond)

4) Other Inmates: Like say, Diandra who was bestie with Gautam for 1st week and then suddenly her game changed after drama created by Karishma Tanna, and so she find her more safe by going with the majority. Well that was not the end. DAYANdra tried pulling many fights with Gautam Gulati n number of times for no apparent reason.

Karishma Tanna- portrayed as the Bimbo, Dumb. Paglol contestant in BB8 is certainly the biggest enemy of Gautam since the very first week. Her logic behind fights with Gautam is always like so dumb and unneeded. I can only say she is just an attention seeker who do noise pollution everyday. It is also true that she is still in the Bigg Boss house just to create conflict with Gautam. Else there is no need of such Woman in the house.

Think of Sonali and every one will be like 0_0 What the hell this confused girl is doing in Bigg Boss. After her return in 2nd week, she preferred GG to showmance but getting no favorable response, she jumped to Upen Patel for another fake romance. Till now she is using the same strategy for survival “Kabhi Idhar Kabhi Udhar”. (I appreciate GG’s sincerity and truthfulness  in all this as he didn’t fake romance for a show. Good Values our Hero- Kudos)

Dimpy seems very impressive as of now, not because she is supportive to Gautam (I can say that’s one of her strategy to get GG fans support), but my solid reason for liking her is she know well how to do tasks (every inmate fails to do that), she knows when and where to use inmates planning and plotting in game, she speaks real and not bullshit with valid reasoning and proof, she tackles negative calmly (eg- fight with Rennee and while provoking Praneet Preetam with sensible and right argument).

Other contestants like Ali, Upen, Renne try to act goodie goodie on face and only do backbiting about Gautam whenever get opportunity. i dont understand what Nigaar Khan is doing in Bigg Boss. Can someone please explain me? her screen presence is Nil apart from plotting against Gautam. Infact its problem with every contestant. Their screen presence and contribution in the show is only revolving around GAUTAM. Either the bitch about Gautam or plot against Gautam or fight with him.

Its like if Gautam yawns, they act like “omg how can gautam yawn, he is such a footage artist, Camera k liye he can do any thing and blah blah blah”

These inmates make me say OH MY GOD every time i see them whether its live feed or uncensored video or sneak-peak or 1 hour show cause the only thing they speak about is GAUTAM GAUTAM GAUTAM. I must say this guy is seriously something. Band baja di hai sabki. ~__~

A ONE MAN ARMY- Certainly

Palestine and Israel conflicts: How do you pick a side?

The current scenario leading me to write this post is certainly not a good indication as what is happening currently in Gaza is truly not an acceptable deed. Do Money & Power allow us to act so inhuman and certainly being a cold-blooded? Humanity at its worst but yet the world turns a blind eye because it’s Israel massacring.

Israel’s no-hold-barred bombardment of Gaza is the latest chapter in the Palestine’s seemingly never ending saga of misery.

53c247075d780

The picture of Israelis watching the fireworks while the innocent Palestinians are bombarded to death is absolutely sickening. One would reason that only Israelis/Jews can relate to such suffering due to their own past but yet they are celebrating this death and destruction. What is worst is the fact that entire world is endorsing this ethnic cleansing by staying quite including the Arab countries. Providing charity after the killing is not going to help Palestinians. My thoughts and prayers are with Palestinians not because they are Muslim, but it’s because ‘I am a Muslim’ and my religion doesn’t allow me to kill innocents. The people who are dying in Gaza are not the criminals but clean-handed innocent children and women. Are they faulty by any chance? Or being Muslim is their fault? The people, who are committing crime and encouraging such war like situation, are neither Jews nor Christian nor Muslim. They just can’t see peaceful society and instigating this plight certainly to gain more power and money. Dictators will be supported by the rich as long as they comply financially with the world imperialist order. So the countries like USA, who are supporting this 1 sided war, are inhuman too and cannot see peace.

There is no objective that can be worth human cost and if hundreds of innocent people are being pushed to death in response of 3 lives, then we need to prepare ourselves for World War 3 now because the mentality of rulers is relentless towards humanism and only thing matters to them is power and use of that power adversely, even if it’s at the cost of thousands of life.

Gaza made a big mistake by striking first and Israel has proved itself as being a ruthless nation. There is no right or wrong side in this war. The only rights are the innocent little children women and men both Jew and Muslims. May their souls rest in peace.

Here is the article I found while browsing over this topic and the interesting facts I got to know is really dis-heartening. If the same amount of support Muslim Countries unitedly can provide it to Palestine then the situation will be a vice versa. The good thing is a sane being would never opt for War as a solution so may be our Muslim brothers from other nations are not ready to get into this conflict but does it really going to keep us in safe zone if we not raising our voice against such incidence?

The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is one of the world’s major sources of instability. Americans are directly connected to this conflict, and increasingly imperiled by its devastation.

It is the goal of If Americans Knew to provide full and accurate information on this critical issue, and on our power – and duty – to bring a resolution.

As per the above data, if USA stops giving support to Jews then there is nil chances for Jews to act bestial towards any mankind.

Its certainly a never ending fight between 2 communities. I can only say May Allah bless the souls and reduce the suffering of innocence out there and and all across the world, no matter of what religion they are.
